Some inconsiderate tw@t in a motorhome on the Guisboro to Whitby road (24 miles) doing between 30mph and 40mph with a foot constantly on the brake pedal.
The van had a large decal on the back of a Tiger ....unmissible.
I was 12 to 15 cars behind and a further 30 or so behind me.
Made no attempt to pull over to let traffic pass
I do hope the inconsiderate b@stards are on here and read this then they may realise the inconvenience caused .

It’s quite a bad road for that I’ve seen people in cars doing less than 40 in the 60 zone, it’s hard to pass them due to the often bends in the road.
I try not to let things get to me anymore, I always think I wonder if it’s a nervous driver or someone not feeling too well etc.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a big sticker removed from the back of a motorhome please.

best To pm me :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

only kidding i don’t have a sticker before someone lets me know.

or cab seats so I guess I would have to keep my foot on the brake to steady myself…

Or showing off their new Tiger sticker.

It’s a regular occurrence on the road up Airedale. This road is the main road to Kendal and therefore the M6. NSL road and motorhomes travelling at between 30 & 40. Holding up the quarry trucks along with everyone else. There are very few overtaking places on this road and I’ve yet to see one pull in to allow others to pass.
Why do they do it?
Do they get pleasure from causing others to travel at their pace?
Are they even aware of the speed limit and the fact they’re causing such a hold up?
Is it perhaps time they handed their licence back?

Use a hair dryer to warm it up then peel very carefully. Preferably whilst not driving and holding people up .

O.k so the moving thing does not help Then.
I have to keep waiting for the cigar lighter to get hot then nip round the back and peel a little bit more Off
as for slow well I can’t really run at 60 mph so it had to be slower.

Wait till your on a downhill section, then send the missus out through the skylite , she can dangle off the back to do it( also giving the queue behind some entertainment)
Win win

Only kidding. The motorhome Sorry the money pit is stuck on the drive as there is still tons I want to sort out.

Buy the way I don’t have any stickers just messing with everybody .

But I do have some nice reflectors covering some holes.

A very long time ago the driver of the works van used to drive slowly home from the site, with upto 10 others in the van I now couldn't blame him, he always used to say, I'd rather be 10 minutes late in this world than 5 minutes early in the next. I'm with you pappajohn but the chances are in those 15 cars between you and the motorhome was somebody else happy to do 40mph on their day trip to Whitby.

“Get a Tiger in your tank” was an old advert for Esso petrol I believe. Maybe they were on an mpg trial, maybe it was stuck in gear, maybe it was in limp mode, maybe they were running out of diesel and economising………maybe the driver was a pillock!

Maybe related to the knobheads i see every day on the M1 , stuck in lane 2,3 or 4 with nothing stopping them from pulling over( Keep left) .
Rant over , time for a nap now.
I always feel awkward when there are three lanes and I have to stick in the middle lane because the inside lane peels off to somewhere else.

God I need a drink after reading this thread.
😀Understood.
I thought initially you had a mnemonic for pi at 8 decimal places but it goes wrong.🤔

For 14 decimal places, Try
“How I need a drink, alcoholic in nature, after the tough chapters involving quantum mechanics”
🤣

I think I had one. Counting was not my best subject before I started making my contributions to this
thread myself…🪘
