I don't think I ever posted in here when I first joined, so having been away I thought I would say something now I'm back.

Had to go 'cold turkey' from MHF for a few months & get some work (& a few other things) done. I was spending far too much time on here!

Life is a little bit quieter now - not much quieter, but enough for me to venture back. I'm doing a fair bit of music stuff, which will get in the way of attending many meets or rallies, but we might make the occasional one. Trouble is, we can't plan very far ahead, so that rules us out of quite a few.

Welcome back Simon, are you still doing music round Lincoln?

Thanks Anthea. Yes, around Lincs & further afield. I'm just off to a session at Bardney this afternoon & a week tomorrow afternoon is the one in Lincoln we have talked about before. There are several more local ones & I've been calling dances for several different bands. I'm also planning to be stewarding at several music festivals over the summer.

I got an Alert about that as soon as I logged back in. Thank you for noticing! Not doing too badly myself, just busy. Will remember you to Jane. Naturally she gets a little worse each year & that is starting to have an effect on our trips away, which is one of the reasons why we are likely to be at less meets & rallies.
