How dog friendly is Ile de Re?
Just remember reading somewhere not as friendly as other places regarding our four legged friends.

We are there now at Rivedoux-Plage and the whole front has no dog signs up, 1st June to 30th September. No body, including us, appears to be taking any notice of it away from the main area of the village. Will be moving further along to Ars-en-Re tomorrow, so will see what that’s like.

Stayed at Camp Essi at Ars-en-Re last September, no problem with dogs on the beach.
