If i was clever with vehicles id like this old van its cheap and i wouldnt have to invest a lot of my savings, and it would be more mechanical than electrical(dont know about old automatic gears tho?)

mechanicaly they are straight forward and I would think just regular servicing would be all you had to worry about, auto gearbox will either be a c3 or an a4ld and should not present any problems

Probably much more reliable and a hell of a lot lighter without all the additional electronic crap, might be a bit noisy though. You could soon get a manual box in it.

It doesn't say there is anything wrong with it, what's to worry about, transits run for ever and it's only done 56000 , very much doubt you will get it for that though :(

Shame it does not show the Reg. No. on ANY of the photo's so that you could have seen the MOT history?

You could always ask for it. And if they have nothing to hide they will tell you 👍🏻

Reg number visible, have the photos changed?

No, my mistake, I was looking elsewhere, not at Ebay!

Edit: Looks OK as far as MOT history is concerned! (Petrol Vehicle)

Big gap in it's MOT history between 2011-2020 but all passes since then.

MOT'ed until August.

Sorry I was looking at the price for milage  but even so it's still only 62000 it's good for at least another 100000 but rust is going to be the big thing, needs looking at, otherwise if you like it , it looks a bargain at that.

Had two of these but one got stolen!(never to be seen again).Found the steering strange! Used. To wander! Original MMM road test described steering as VAGUE!I upgraded engine to 2.1 Ltr and fitted a Weber carb.Went a bit better but performance not brilliant.Eventualy bought a Ford with 2.5 ltr Tdi engine and couldn’t believe difference in torque etc!No longer dreading hills😊

Certainly looks good on pics but closer inspection is best

I love the response on here.

pampam makes a lighthearted post about an older motorhome and a page in it looks like she’s buying it 😂

I'm fairly new at this forum game but am interested in learning. How did you conclude it was a 'lighthearted' post?
Would that not have had a 'smily' Emoji?
