have to admit she was sitting just outside the window, didn't even need full zoom... but my previous camera couldn't have produced anything like the clarity
it's a simple mid-range compact, photo taken through a window, on "intelligent automatic"

Can't go wrong with a Lumix.. had one for years and was great..

Now have Fuji X100s .. love it , takes better pictures than the Canon EOS D70 I used to lug around

"Proper !" What you have there is far far better than all the Grand Masters of Photography had for over 100 years yet they produced timeless stunning prints.

That bird has real impact, it hits the classical Rule of Thirds, grand shot.
