Carthago Chic C-Line

All the gear, and no idea!
I have to fess up, I’ve put a few posts on here asking for info on all things Carthago for a friend…… well it wasn’t for a friend, it was for me, as a few of you have twigged.
The Sonic has been replaced with a Carthago Chic C-Line i49. We bought it from Simon-Alan Kerr and got a great deal on it and the usual great service from Simon and his team and up to now both Val and I are very happy with it. We knew the sonic inside out and there is so much to learn with all the gizmos fitted on the Carthago, so I’m sure I’ll have more questions for you all.
See you at lincoln👍

Could it be that Carthagos are now considered down market since ShiftZZ bought one? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::wink:

Seriously, looks nice :)
Yes that has crossed my mind😁

Lovely van, was registered around June 2016 by Premium in Bawtry as our reg is only few letters apart.
Just one quick tip around the Carthago. Are you aware of the power drain that may occur around the vehicle radio system. Its not a problem if you are aware of the issue

Now that's a much better van, and it's got the steering wheel on the proper side for an A Class.
I can say it now I don't think much of Sonic's our friends have one, more glitz than quality, I've done a few jobs on it for them, overall build is OK just a bit tacky inside.
The Carthago build quality is way up, if we change it will probably be a Carthago.

What made you change from the Adria sir.

BTW, you're a good looking lad, no question ;-)
A better kitchen and also a dressing area, we did love the sonic tho🤔🤔
But this is a better van I think🤞🤞

Yes I recognised the YN reg, as premium is just up the Road 👍.
It’s got an isolation switch, Lenny HB has spoken frequently on the head unit drain👍

Glad you approve Sir Lenny HB
It’s got some gubbins on it.
Rear Air (alko X2 premium Factory fit I think)
E&P levellers
Sat system
And a load of other stuff👍👍

I can say I wouldn’t have bought it should it had been Right Hand Drive 👍

Nice van mate, I can’t believe I'm still on the Encore and your on your 3rd.
Maybe it’s time for a change.......don’t tell the Mrs.

I can’t believe it either, but one has to go up in the world, so they tell me!

That's a really nice spec'd van, plus the engine too.

A real winner there.

Thanks, we’re booked to go to Germany in December for Xmas markets, so that should be a good test for it👍

Mentioning Lincoln may have invited us all round for a gander, and a drink to toast the new arrival me thinks. 😁

The Cologne Christmas market is great. The Aire is a few stops on the tram by the river and is perfect to stop at but gets full at weekends and you may need to book in advance.
