Our new to us Hymer came with a Motorhome Wi-Fi 4g system.
Its mounted in the top cupboard in the lounge.
Having a very high data usage on my phone sim I didn’t want to enter into another contract so I purchased a nano to micro sim adaptor so I could use my phone sim in it if the signal is not to good. It works really well and I’m really pleased.
Yesterday while wild camping and waiting to watch the rugby the signal on the phone kept dropping off. No problem, I’ll put the sim in the hub.
I use a cut off cocktail stick to push the adaptor so it unlocks and comes out of the hub.
This is where the problem starts.
The spring must be so powerful because it shot out of the hub like a Champagne cork and disappeared into god knows where.
We have looked everywhere and so far it evades capture 😂😂
If you see a Hymer on the side of the road with all the contents outside you’ll know who it is. 😉

I feel your pain Iwas changing phones this week and managed to lose the sim drawer out of one like you we searched hi and low to no avail swmbo says she didn't move it so it must have been me
Found one on eBay but when i contacted the company that one didn't fit my phone but they kindly linked to their website where it was available for less than two pounds ,great until I got to check out to find postage was three pounds .after chewing a whole magazine of bullets i pressed the button .When it arrived this item that could have gone in a standard envelope was in a jiffy bag big enough for the whole phone and that was in a large plastic bag big enough for a Motorola from the eighties

Don't think Wild camping and watching TV should be used in the same sentence..:imoutahere:
