In this fine weather!
Spent yesterday washing the van. Today’s job to polish. Tomorrow’s job, washing down the roof again to get all the seagull Shyte off!
And the results........

This image also shows the chimney extension that some of you recommended to buy to solve the the problem of the fire blowing out in strong winds. It worked a treat!!

I had a go at the crud that forms under the sky light.

I just noticed I can see the sea from the roof!

I've hand washed the van with hot water getting rid of all the green algae. Next step is polish with Menzerna Super Finish Plus 3800 THEN wax with Collinite 476S. Should keep me busy for another week...at least :p

There's going to be a lot of immaculate vans this summer, or whenever life returns to normal.

Hi.
Surely that would damage the outer cover ?......... I mean,i was told you cannot put Decals on certain...." "Bikers ?" helmets,as it weakens them if they get...Banged.....

Only Polycarbonate ones If its rubber or Fiberglass it should be okay but take any batteries out first!;)

I'm going to do mine, clean and wax polish and then the cover goes on, that way in the future when the archeologist finds it it will still be pristine.

I was going to do exactly the same.....van is in bad state....just bought it it ?...not sure if last owner ever polished it.....I was going to do the clay thing first before the Super Finish Plus 3800.....is that over the top and a waste of time.....should it be either Clay OR Super Finish Plus 3800...

AFAIK, clay is used when preparing "concours d'elegance" type vehicles.....so probably a bit OTT for a MH. Suggest you initially do a trial area with just polish and wax and see how it turns out o_O
