Lots but slow learner.
If i were to buy a almost new Luton type box van. How much would i be looking at to have it converted to a 2 bed RV with a very high spec and all the best heaters, pumps, electrics, utilities blah blah.
I know it's near impossible to guess but i have no idea if it would be £20K £30K £40K. any ideas would be appreciated.

You would also need to watch what type of luton van you were thinking of as, I believe, some of them have quite a low weight capacity.

Could easily cost you 100k if you really wanted the best, don’t forget if you wanted the best of everything the quality of the labour will have to match and that will cost a fair chunk.

I was thinking if i cannot find a van to suit maybe a private conversion would be better (i am not able to do it).
So i would take advice on which van to use as a base.

Would that be just for the fitting out?

Might be worth having a chat with Wissel who can advice on likely cost or may even be able to do it for you.

Not easy to give an accurate figure without specs, but I would say around £20k in parts (for very high spec) and around £5k in labour.

(that's working on what I would charge to do a high end conversion, no idea what others may charge)

Thanks all. And thanks Wissel. I have PMed you.

I'd go for a Ducato etc lo loader

Light weight and decent length.

Good nearly ones go for £20k+

There is a place up near Leeds who does them.

To kit out you could do it for £5k + labour base spec I rekon.

Cheers James
