I'm looking for a left hand drive late model E690 or an early B754. I've spent the last few months trawling the internet without finding anything suitable, although I've missed a couple. Sold before my phone call. The continental websites are not much help now with the pound/euro almost at parity so does anybody know of one for sale in the UK?

Maddie: Up to £32k depending on age, model etc.

ScotJimland: Thanks for looking. I already know about these two at Brownhills. One of them Brownhills doesn't know anything about and the other is too expensive and RHD.

Cheers

Edit: OK so they don't look like such long links when Funsters website translates the html into a display link.

Thank you Jean-Luc. I was already aware of these but had forgotten all the details so at least one will be worth a phone call tomorrow. And Bigfoot, I have my name down at Bundesvan, Deepcar, Hambilton and Motorhomes R Us amongst many others... I hope someone comes up with something soon as I'd prefer not to lose the coming season. It would be a pity to have to wait until next autumn.

Hi Mike

I'm really curious why you have chosen this model.. .. and are prepared to lose a season if you can't find one .. what makes it so special .. ?

I can never figure out the Hymer model numbers, is there a logical way to figure them out.. .. length, beds or what ?
The reason I asked was I have always liked the really old Hymers , thought of buying one with a view to refurbishing ..

cheers

I'm really curious why you have chosen this model.. ..

As usual these things are often illogical. However I justify my choice as follows:

1. Low level permanent double berth

2. Full length comfortable sofa to lounge on.

3. Kitchen some worksurface beyond the sink/cooker area

4. Reasonable amount of storage but still miniscule compared to the boat we've come from

5. Hymer quality and depreciation not unbearable

6. I just like it!

Cheers!
