Hymer drop down bed stopped

The drop down bed in our 2013 A-Class Hymer was slightly out of line on one side. We pressed the double buttons as per the manual and all seemed OK - even heard the buzzard.

Then when we checked going up and down again we found no problems until. On the third go, the bed stopped in mid movement. The buzzer was calling to say the bed was in place. But it was not. The bed would not move, neither up or down, and the motors would sound.

So what would stop the bed mid place with the motors silent but the buzzard sounding?

ARe there any position switches eg a home or limmit switch, stuck on or off?

There may be a thermal cut out on the motor that needs to cool down before it will work again.
With the weight of bedding etc it may only cope with one lift or lower at a time.

We had the same problem in our Pilote MH. I’m sorry you are having the same trouble. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the bed to come down, even though my husband is a wiz with all things mechanical. We ended up trading in the MH with the bed still stuck. I know this doesn’t help but I do feel for you.
