Hi,

How do you remove the bezel that is in front of the four Hella 90mm lamps on a Hymer B644
(and other Bxxxs presumably).

Regards.

The grey ones on mine (2006) are held on by double sided tape, prise them off carefully on a warm day.

Pete,

Many thanks for your reply and photo. The photo tells me you are talking of a bezel variation I have not see before.

For clarity, I now attach a pic showing the bezels I am trying to remove on my Hymer.

Regards.

Take the light out first I would say, at a gues the front moulding will be for the previous larger lights so they used an infill while updating the tooling.

To answer my own question I am happy to attach two images, inside engine compartment from above, of the back of the LHS headlight.

They may not be the best angle but they show the profiles of the dome heads of the two tiny Philips headed screws that hold the top edge of the bezel. The screws go through the galvanised sheet, the fibreglass and into the back of the bezel.

Not shown but there are two matching screws holding the bottom edge of the bezel which can be accessed from below with the bumper off. The same applies to the other headlamps.

Who said the Germans do not have sense of humour?

Hope this is of some help to others.
