Anyone looking for a Hymer related cherished registration the DVLA have released a lot of Hym and Hmr registrations, the £80 registration fee is included in the price shown. Link to Hym selection follows just change the yellow search box on left to Hmr if you prefer.

Motorhoming Vicars with a penchant for German Vans and a poor grasp of spelling will be flocking to the DVLA for the HYM registrations ... Unless they get Palmed off with something else ... (y):giggle:

'Gloria sic in transit' means the missus has just vomited in the PVC ...

I picked up M900 HYM, M for my wife (or motorhome) our car is also M900 followed by my initials herself bought it for me 20 years ago👍
I loved the Terry Wogan R2 Show of 20+ years ago when his listeners effectively wrote his scripts with their comments and observations on daily life. One that springs to mind came from a Gent who bemoaned his inability to afford a personalised number plate. 'But then I had a brainwave. I popped along to my Solicitor, paid him £10 to change my name by Deed Poll to C452 JXL, and I now have a rare, but cheap, personalised registration ...' (y) :giggle:

Detnor lol,
There is a story behind ours when Eddie was 60 I did not know what to get him for his Birthday so for a surprise I got him new plates for the car that was 20 years ago, a couple of years later we bought the van and it had a number plate on that was a jumble of letters so to make life easy remembering the reg booking on sites got ours think I paid £299 so I am in profit, reason for C9. Carol and both born in September. daft but a bit of fun.

There used to be a fish business in Taunton with a van reg no L1VEO.

I have two "vanity plates" for my car and my MH - S44JWA and S444JWA.
The car plate I bought in 2002 as it was the closest I could get to a combination of my wife's initials and mine; and then in 2011 I found the MH one was available. When parked together on the drive I've had many remark that "you've got the same number on your vehicles"...........doh! I find that for £80 transfer fee when changing vehicles saves me having to remember a new number and also the new vehicle is really mine!! How silly is that!!
