How to test alarm/immobiliser.

Just purchased an Autotrail Savannah 2011 and would like to know how to check if the alarm/immobiliser is working properly.
Any ideas how to test this. Thanks.

Set alarm, wait a minute and then open door?

Is that setting the alarm from inside and opening door from the inside.

There should be a fob sequence to do both. Close the van from the outside. Activate alarm and open a door.
Plus inside the same but alarm should not activate when you move around, only on opening a door.
You need to check your alarm instructions.

Maybe maybe not, the Eddievanbitz strikeback has two modes one when we are away from the MoHo and the second setting is when we in residence so mode 1 the alarm would go off if you move inside the MoHo Or undo the doors etc. Mode 2 opening the doors etc will set the alarm off but not if your moving around inside. Neat eh
