How to clean fly screens?

The concertina-style fly screens on my Autotrail need cleaning. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this without risking damaging them?

Place absorbent towel/kitchen roll either side at bottom of blind to stop excessive water getting into mechanism. open window close blind spray from inside with warm soapy water. Dab with more towel to dry. Should get the worst off
