How many nights away in 2021?

Despite spending many, many days sitting on my sofa, I have just totted up the number of nights that I managed away this year in the moho.

Surprisingly it was 62!!

All in the UK between May 6th and November 6th and a mixture of Fun Rallies, sites, C&CC THS and DA meets.

How many did you manage?

Now I'm going to have to sit down with a G&T and work it out.

Wow thats a good number. I have done 25 from june to december.

Just been off to count and we had 90 nights away in the van , across multiple trips in the UK and over to France.

If you’re going to sit down with a G&T before 11 in the morning then you are well ahead of the game!

I can empathise. Being on my own too, I know how difficult it is to drag my backside off the sofa.

My thirst for adventure all but dried up in 2020 but I made myself get out there and I am so glad that I did.

Thanks to all you wonderful people and some very special friends, I was able to face the real world again.

108 for us, wouldn’t have been so many if when we sold our house we had one to move in to!

We did 73 days in the UK only so pleased with that. Managed 24 day trip to Scotland in early September but was put of by the number of rental campers out there.

Thanks to all you wonderful people and some very special friends, I was able to face the real world again.

It has been strange times but thanks for asking this question as it made me go back and flick through the diary and remember lots of great trips away, often meeting funsters as part of them.

I would never have thought (if asked) that we have been away that many nights.

Just totted up the numbers. Purchased the van on 12th July, and have spent a total of 78 nights away in it since, all but 10 of those the other side of the tunnel. Not a bad start!

Edit even managed 8 in Euroland in December for the first time in two years and it was great

A fair slice of that was on my mothers drive in Cornwall and my brothers drive in Oxfordshire

Thats down from 162 in 2013 when we’d only just retired but up from 38 last year when we really felt locked down.
I could go on but then you would all realise what a boring number nerd I really am.

Purchased our first van in mid-June and have spent 30 days away. Unfortunately, work keeps interfering with our leisure.

We did do five weeks in Normandy/Brittany in October and two 2 week trips to Scotland.

335 for me , 95 in Spain and the rest in uk as i was fulltime .30days short of the year as I bought a wee hoos and spent November in that before heading south to Spain .keep on camping folks and get out there as much as you can,but stay safe.

38 normally in 3 nighters with one 14 night trip, we can't do many long trips due to caring responsibilities

2021, 125 nights since the end of lockdown, plus 43 nights at sea, our plan is to continue the same in 2022 not knowing what is down the road.
