Hook up battery help!

hi all,
Am having trouble with leisure battery. Have hooked up to campsite mains but charging icon not come on. Strange as fridge was set to mains but 2:30am leisure battery ran out. Cant work out how to get the leisure battery to charge

I know it may be a daft Question but is the charger actually switched on?

What vehicles is it and what 12v electric system?

Have you checked the EHU is turned on at the Sargent box?

Is campsite mains working? Try another one on the post maybe.
Next,check all switches on the charger/ mains system are on.
Next,check your fuses.

Trip switch? (Down is Off)
If you have a mains appliance, try plugging it in and see if it works.

As all of the above have said....as your control panel is not showing mains power connected. (no light at the lightning symbol ?)

What van?
Sounds like no mains getting to the charger or charger fu**ed.
If a German van and fridge on auto with no mains or gas it will default to hab battery.

Plug something in that works from 240 v only and see if it comes on.if not it's obviously your incoming where the issue is.

I had my first EHU newbie mistake at Chatsworth Park’s CAMC site,
I plugged our lead in correctly at both ends & thought job done.
But 5hrs later there was a panic with a lack of power to devices that were mains only.

My pitch neighbour asked if I’d twisted my socket after connecting.
Nope! This was my 1st experience of that outlet type so a twist later we were good.

tl;dr Does you EHU outlet you’re connected to need a twist to be “on”?
