According to the Daily Mail this evening

"Ministers are expected to make a final decision tomorrow on exactly when to drop the requirement for double-jabbed travellers to quarantine after returning from amber list destinations such as Spain, France and Greece.

But multiple sources told the Mail that the Prime Minister is determined to implement the move on so-called 'Freedom Day' on July 19, when most remaining domestic restrictions will be scrapped."

You heard it hear first - last Tuesday.... ;) (y)

Hi all,
New member, so be gentle.
Thinking of going to France in August. What do you think are the requirements for 'proving resources and accommodation' as stated on their website? In a motorhome, it's fairly obvious to prove where you're staying, unless they want an attestation from every campsite (not likely).
Other than that it's resources. Anyone had to bring a bank statement, or open up their banking app?
As to testing, is that just purchasing a test from a company? If so, what companies do you use?
Finally, is anyone getting their fridges checked / sandwiches confiscated?
Sorry for the stupid questions.

We landed in Spain 5 weeks ago, nobody checked anything other than passport. I cant imagine the queues if they were to try to do all of the things that have been suggested.

They've dropped the green card pretty quickly because they've realised the pointlessness of it and I suggest Spain and Portugal will be lobbying hard for some kind of visa extension.

No passport checks but our vaccination certificates were checked on entry to Greece by ferry at Patras.

On return to Poland by air they were also checked - by Health Ministry staff, not immigration. Not sure who the staff were who checked at Patras.
