Seen it all now!!

Very novel, but can you imagine the insurance claim if it did go wrong…..”we’d like to view the damp you reported to the insurance assessor, can I see the motorhome”

”Sure, here’s your SCUBA gear”

A few years ago I looked at the price just out of interest as I couldn't really see point of it. They were silly money can't remember how much but very expensive.

A few old sleepers, some ratchet straps, rudder (or independent braking on the drive wheels) and some paddles welded to old rims.
What more does one need???:rofl::rofl:

That definitely sounds like the script for Top Gear

Just one question......WHY?

Who wants to be restricted to waterways which limit your travels

My way, you don't have to be. Just undo the ratchet straps, put the sleeper on the roof-rack, replace the road wheels and BeBe's your uncle (to conform with non-gender compliance) :giggle:

I’ve got a great idea, suppose you wanted to spend a week on the river or canal and you found someone or a company that hires out pleasure crafts or narrowboats, no wait, I might have seen this somewhere before 😀🤓🤠

Done on the Norfolk broads years ago. Customers caravan was loaded using ramps and a tractor

Yet ANOTHER first for East Anglia!
Nelson taught us how to defeat the strongest Navy in the world,
Gainsborough AND Constable taught us how to paint
AND
I have a surplus of sleepers and ratchet straps.
Order NOW before the Panic Buying starts!
BE A TREND SETTER! :rofl::rofl:

We had our honeymoon on the Grand Union. Boat from Sovereign Narrowboats, sadly now defunct, because they were lovely boats.

We've been back since, like you using Wyvern, who's boats are nearly as good as Sovereign's were. Sadly, we'd need something wheelchair accessible now if we were to do it again.

Pahhhh, my AT can easily go into any lake……….once 😅😂🤣

Wonder if they dump the grey while out cruising the cut 🤠

Has no-one used the word "Boatorhome" yet?...If not, I claim it!
