Newbies to motorhoming - purchasedJune 2017
Hinderman silver cycle cover good quality - hardly used. £35 collection Kent or can post or possibly deliver. It has clear wallet for the reflective sign and would cover 2 to 4 bikes.

Hi @RVFUN , if the bike cover is still available I’ll take it off your hands, but will need it posted if possible. Let me know and I’ll PM you my details.

Just thought I should clarify, we have a towball mounted bike carrier, is your cover compatible with that? Can you confirm which model cover you have? Thanks!

We used it on a regular bike rack but it has straps you can cross over so not sure if I’m honest. I think it is designed for a bike rack as has the see through area for the red and white reflector in the centre. I’m not sure if it would work on a tow ball rack but it may do so would rather you check that it would suit you first before posting.

I live in Devon, but next week I am in Gravesend, is it still for sale? If so I will buy it. Mike

Thanks for your reply and sorry for the continued clarification.
Is your bike cover one of the ones listed on this page?

I think I would need it to be the ‘Universal’ model as pictured below to be compatible with towbar carrier:-

The other models listed state “Not suitable for tow ball carriers“.

Hi Mike, just pending confirmation, but I suspect the cover as described may be for a bike rack rather than towbar mounted carrier. Assuming that’s the case, and you need a cover for a rack, I think you are in primary position.

Edit: having read the reply from @RVFUN again, noting the straps description etc, it does sound like the cover won’t work for me on a towball mounted carrier. Based on that, I think @Mike Kiff is now best placed to purchase from the vendor.

Hi it’s not the same as the one in the picture so don’t think it is what you are looking for.
We are about 15-20 minutes from Gravesend Mike so let me know when. I may even be able to meet you somewhere if that’s easier. The cover is great very good quality - we just don’t need it now as have electric bikes that will fold up and go in our tow car.

I haven’t heard from interested members despite messages above so bike cover is still available.
Admin - not bumping just clarifying as I know members are polite if think someone else has got in first.

Hi Broken Link Removed Would this be ok for a scooter on a Sawiko Ligero chassis mounted carrier?

Hi Broken Link Removed I have just looked at the website and I think it will have to be the universal style to fit the rack I have.

It looks similar to this with straps and a clear pocket for the sign. It is good quality material with straps. It is quite large so would cover 3 or 4 bikes easily. It is just not we need as we now have fold up electric bikes now that go into small bags of their own.
