Thought I would post a video of the Nu Venture . Looks like a really nice compact motorhome 👍🏻

Great positive attitude, have a great time .

Hi everyone
I thought at 69 and widowed my travelling days were behind me. How wrong that has turned out to be. I have just bought a 2012 Nu Venture Surf and intend to visit far and wide with my dog as a companion. I am a keen photographer so will be spoilt for locations. I have owned caravans previously but this is my first motor home so I am sure I will be asking lots of questions.
Gordon

Welcome and have fun.

We look forward to the photos.

No unfortunately about it... Greyhounds are the best dogs.
Totally agree, she is my second, both rescued ex racers. Easy to look after and very affectionate. My "unfortunately " term refers to her size, they do like their comforts and take up a lot of room. Since getting her in December I've learnt to sleep with one foot on the floor again!!

I have just paid the £15 and am pleased to be a full paid up member now!
As far as my photography goes, I was a professional photographer in the Royal Navy for many many years photographing everything from Royalty to broken machinery. I have also been a wedding and portrait photographer. These days I get to choose what to photograph and mainly do landscapes and wildlife. If you would like to see some of my recent work it can be viewed on Flickr (a photo sharing site) here. www.flickr.com/photos/141512698@N08/

Welcome - I can relate to your experience - we once went to get some toilet blue and cam away with a new van.
Cuh, You were lucky! 50 years ago I went out to buy a puncture repair kit and ended up with my first wife.
We still laugh about it when we meet occasionally.

We went out to buy a gecko for my daughter and came home with a king Charles spaniel , I'm still not entirely sure how that happened , a motorhome would be pushing it though

Reminds me years ago, I worked in a large office and one of the chaps there who was expecting their first child was sent out by his Wife to buy a pram. He came back with a whole pig from the butchers instead. No-one could understand why not even his Wife
