Surprisingly they are pretty comfortable, moulded to a behind shape and a big leaf spring underneath,a sack bag on there and you are good for the day.

We made a swing tied to a span beam on a Dutch barn with a tractor seat like that, if it had hit you when it was swinging, you would have been decapitated !
