Any recommendations for getting rid of a rogue mozzie r that seems to have taken up residence for the last two nights and bitten the life out of me.
I can hear it buzzing around in the dark but any attempts at swatting it are met by silence for a few seconds and then It starts buzzing again.
I am sure I can hear it laughing at me as it comes in for another bite,,
Driving me mad… please help,,,

Get some good spray and give it a good blast before you leave for an hour.

Then stick a sign up ..no mozzies beyond this point

French Raid fly wasp and mosquito killer better than the English version
Is that the same a Spanish raid?
Do they speak the same language?

Whereabouts' in Spain are you? I got mauled by what I thought were mozzies and turns out they were Tiger Flies ended up on weeks of antibiotics, get to a Pharmacia and let them look at the bites! ( More prevalent under trees )

One living creature I have no problem killing.

Yes, park in Yorkshire, no mozzies here at the moment:xThumb::xrofl:

PS send us some sun, ta:xThumb:

Lavender oil or lavender wipes from the nearest euroland shop is good prevention.

Sounds like you need to get your own back on this little blighter so turning the lights off then turning them back on may bring him to the light at night then use what we refer to as "la main de la mort" fly swatter

As others have said give the van a good spray with fly/wasp killer when you are going out , by the time you get back it will be dead

I learned that one when having the same problem in Egypt, I was trying all kind of gizmos then the barman gave a can of spray & told me to spray in the apartment when going out , problem solved after 3 bad nights , simple & affective

Spray the van before you go out. Come back a couple of hours later. Don't use cheapo spray like pound shop stuff, it’s useless. Use Raid or some other Armageddon spray.

its a myth, this is the one that works

Yep, used Smidge for years, works “most” of the time but don’t forget to do the tips of yer ears.

We had a few in the van in the evenings. As soon as you switch the light on they land out of the way somewhere, I put my LED headlight on and hunt them down with fly spray, look carefully and meticulously, on curtains, back of seats etc, and all through the darker cab area. If you get a direct hit with fly spray they go down like a sack of shit. 👌

We use the search with lights out and torch and then zap them with one of these

Yes definitely more fun but for a quick efficient death a nerve agent is better 😊

Having been raised in the tropics I am an expert mozzie hunter, even with bare hands.

Deffo recommend this type of zapper, if only for the satisfaction of ol' Sparky-style execution of the little monsters. :xThumb:
