As above really, my fridge just won't cool down enough.
I have spoken to two local companies on the phone and both have said replace cooling unit/fridge

But...
The problem has only reared its ugly head since I tapped into the D+ signal on the fridge to signal the new B2B.
It may be coincidental.

I wonder if I have possibly dislodged another wire but this problem would be above my pay grade atm.

Fridge did go down to 4° overnight last week but sadly short lived.

Any advice or clues would be much appreciated

All the best

Replacing the thermal paste on the rear of the aluminium fin plate made a big difference to my 3 way fridge. In fact there was very little of the stuff in the first place. Cheap and easy to do.
If you do a search there are several threads on it

With the temperatures we have had it is not surprising. Dometic fridge's are designed to cool down to 20 degrees below ambient.

Instal a couple of cooling fans in the space behind the fridge and it will improve the performance of the fridge.

Interesting point Paul

240v ehu did bring fridge down to 12°ish overnight last week (post lithium fitting ) but this afternoon i tried 240v after cooling ish on gas and it did nothing.

I have a 8505 in warm weather +10 is quite normal in standard trim.
I have two fans in the top grill controlled by a temperature controller and an internal fan also with a controller. I've also replaced the thermal paste.
It works very well now.

Also dial set to number 3 helps, some make the mistake of turning it fully up and I don’t know why but it doesn’t help…😎

As you think that the problem has started since you added into the D+ and I believe that your Fridge has AES controls that has the refuelling 15 mins. cut off feature (when it goes into stand-by mode) and as I expect that this feature may get its signal to operate from the D+, maybe connecting into this signal could be the cause of some sort of a problem ?

Now that's a thought

When something similar has happened with my fridge I found opening the freezer helped.
It seemed that the fridge turned off once the freezer reached temperature, and if the fridge was opened it didn't turn back on. Badly explained but it appeared the thermostat was just on the freezer.

Just a second thought

Is it the D+ signal or the S+ signal for the AES.

D+ to signal engine stopped or running, ie. when stopped for re- fuelling etc. (is S+ not for when solar is in use ? )
