Help needed with Chausson fridge! (1 Viewer)

Hi gang,

We have a Chausson Flash 514, Dometic fridge works perfectly when hooked up to mains or on gas. Trouble is can’t get it to run off leisure battery when in the move.
I’ve checked the fuse box, all ok there.
It has auto select function but just alarms when driving.....any ideas?

Of interest the igniter on the cooker doesn’t work either....in case that helps.

Is your leisure battery getting charged when the engine is running?
There are two relays behind the drivers seat... one of them should energise and connect the leisure side to the alternator when the engine is running... id check that first..

When on the move what does the battery voltage read, ie is it charging? If it is that would at least confirm the alternator output looks to be OK

There are certain functions that need to know the engine is running to operate, the fridge being one

I have had a failure on mine with what they call a D+ relay failing, that is a can issue not the motorhone
