Help me out with a name……..

Hypothetically, if we had a new dog, not that we’re announcing anything yet…..() cos it might be a secret at the moment, but if we did, and he looked something like this……….and he was previously called Zeus, and you wanted the change the name, hypothetically, what do you think?
He’s a Dalmatian cross Husky, 10 months old, and a large unit but very soft and obedient……
Come on, hit us with some names

At the moment, we’re liking Rip, as in Rip Wheeler from Yellowstone! A big gentle giant who would protect you with his life! (….and if you know us, you know who Beth is!)View attachment 1054925

Hey Carol, thank you. he’s been with a trainer with his previous family….and it shows. We have him booked with a well regarded local school for an 8 week ‘course’ starting the day before his 1st birthday, more for us really! Yr never too old to learn, and I’m sure it will be fun and sociable

No direct Dane, but who knows about his parents lineage. They were Dalmatian and Husky, and he was part of a surprise litter before the mum and dad were ‘done’

Zeus is good, I was going to say Digger because our daughter had a lab x husky and the bugger made our garden look like a bomb site, apparently husky like to dig holes. Bob.

I bought a tall dog gate to fit between the kitchen/garden and hallway, 95cm tall……it’s like it’s not even there…..he flys! But I suppose that’s better than having him dig under the floor

….currently working on a ‘solution’……thinking I’ll try a spring loaded curtain pole fitted above the gate by a foot Might provide a visual deterrent . At least he’d knock it off rather than get stuck on it if he tried! It’s just to keep him away from the front door…….just in case‍♂

He does have a crate, and is ‘crate trained’ but personally I hate them
