We have a hymer B584 2005 model, with long benches down either side and an oval table between them. I was led to believe that this made up into a large double. Until now we've always used the over cab bed, but now want to use thr lounge bed as well. There seem to be enough cushions to make a double bed, and i can manage to lower the table to the same level as the side benches, but can't work out how the oval table provides enough support for a rectangular bed. There are, in effect, holes in the base where you would fall through. I'm sure I'm being really stupid, but have wrestled with it all evening and am going mad. I have looked in the manual but it's not much help, and there are so many different configurations it's hard to know which one equates to ours.

Hi.just seen your query from August 12 2015 're hymer b584 "making up hymer lounge bed". I am currently trying to do same on my b584 2006. Did unmanaged to resolve the matter?

Donnakebab, do any of your cushions have boards fitted in the back between the foam and cover? If so these will be the ones to use for the section that has parts of the base support missing.

I have a 2003 B544 and have an additional cusion with a plywood base which I understand sits on the lowered table to make up a double bed along with the offside bench seats which has the 'return L'
I've never used it, or set up the double bed so I can't comment on it's suitability as a bed
I've also removed the huge original table for a smaller round one so it may not work now anyway ?
The additional cusion lives in the loft at home
