So we are on hols , just arrived yesterday and all is fine till this morning , and at first it looked like the BMS on our new lithion had tripped as the whole power in the MH seemed dead.
So I checked BMS app , battery voltage 14v
Then started to trace power for the Sargent ec500 through the Sargent EM40 INTERFACE ( the fuse box ) and on both VB IN and VB out and power is going out ok , so then I went to the Sargent EC500 which seems totally lifeless even though I have checked 14 fuses on the front , the trips and switches on the front and also I found 1 x 25 amp fuse on the rear of the EC500 and it was OK ,
I disconnected both the the "LBAT" and the " VBAT " leads from the back of the EC500 and they were showing 14v & 13v ok , now Im not 100% sure if LBAT & VBAT are the Vehicle & Leisure the power supplies for the Ec500 , but one would think so.
But how / where can I check to see where the power is meant to come out of the EC 500 for the likes of the water pump / boiler , as atm the EC 500 looks totally dead

Thanks Jo662 for the bump
Atm I have managed to get the fridge going by providing it a direct live feed from the leisure batteries , same for the water pump(
But the Truma water heater ,toilet flush, lights , electric step , 12v sockets are all still dead.
I will phone Sargent tech line in the morning to see if they can help.
If not then I'll have to do some more Temp rewiring to enable us to continue our long long awaited holiday in France / spain

Just a very stoopit question as you will have checked, the System Shutdown button on the front of the EC500 isn't turned off?:getmecoat:

Next daft question, are you on hook-up (possibly not) but if you are is the 230v side working? Battery charger \ Hot water \ etc buttons light up?

You might be aware of this but tonka put this up in Resources a couple of years back. Might be helpful?

Yip the system shutdown button has been pressed loads inc leaving it off for an HR then trying it back on again.
As for hook up we bought a airie token , 4 euro for 50 mins of electric and the microwave worked , but forgot to check if anything else worked , as we needed to use said token time to put fresh water into the MH tank , I might go get another token and try the electrics later again.

Gellyneck I've just read the resources that tonka had put in the resources , very helpful indeed as I never knew about it so a big thanks

The control panel above the door can sometimes throw a wobbly.
Take off outer frame, remove panel and unplug the unit for a minute or so.
Worth a try. 👍👍
Will try that Tonka

tonka tried that still nothing

I'm wondering if it could be anything to do with the split charge relay ? Like it's jammed on and preventing the ec500 powering up as it thinks the engine is running ?
How would I find out where the split charge relay is in the autosleeper kingham ?

I had a similar problem with the EC500 and it was the solar regulator giving over voltage and the sargent unit protecting it's self by shutting down, a new regulator sorted it out. Best of luck.

Thanks for the help , I don't use the inbuilt solar controller anymore since installing the victron ones , but I tried unplugging the original solar regular from the ec500 and still nothing.
Thanks anyway :)

As far as I am aware the split charge relay is on the EC500 PCB.

Ok thanks Diabalo
I'll phone Sargent in the morning and see what they have to say.

Ok update , the ec480 ( control panel ) has been diagnosed as being faulty , but we will be able to wait until we return home to get that repaired or replaced , as the ec500 is now working again
Gave you a Like (y) but you know what I mean!

At least you know what's up rather than frantically trying to figure out what you've forgotten \ done wrong!;)
