Hi, I was given a pair of faux sheepskin seat covers for our boxer based Bailey motorhome. The seats have integrated head rests and the covers had previously been used on a Benemar van.

Can anyone tel me how CV to tension the covers using the elastic tabs?

What do they fit or tie to?

Do I need metal “hooks” to link them together?

I hope someone can help!

On our boxer pvc non swivelling seats, there's no facility to fasten the elastic loops/tabs. But to be fair they don't move as they're a snug fit.

Is there enough play in them to pull behind the seat and knot together?
Also, could they loop over your seat adjustment wheel or seatbelt fastener? We loop ours over the latter

I think most of us use adjustable elastic webbing with clips at each end. I just bought a few when we first got our real sheepskins. They are easy to fit, hold the sheepskins in place without getting in the way of seatbelt buckles or seat adjustment. (see below a link to the sort of straps available, try e bay or Amazon if you don't want to use Temu)
TIP: as others have found take them out the van when overwintering as they can sweat and leave marks, they then become useful in the house making all seats comfy in winter.(y)
