What can I use to strenthen it until I can get around to fixing it?

Thank you.

Can you get up to it Joy?

The first thing is to stop the crack getting any larger and that is usually done by drilling a small hole at the end of the crack. After that a suitable glue can be used as a temporary binder (others will come and let you know brand and exact type as I'm not 100 % sure and am guessing at Tensol 70)

Hmm, it seems from your recent posts you've been unlucky this past week or so.
As Puddleduck said, you need to put a hole (2mm dia hole would be sufficient) at the very ends of the crack to stop it spreading.
Drilling a tiny hole in exactly the right place in a slippery plastic surface is tricky as the point of the drill will tend to slip sideways when you start to drill. You can stick a piece of tape (masking or electrical) over where you want to drill and this will help to stop the drill bit from slipping sideways but then you can't see exactly where you need to drill. (Sigh).

What I would do (and you may not have an electric drill or 2mm drill bit to hand) is to heat a (say approx 2mm dia) nail (held in Mole grips or pliers) to cherry red in the gas hob flame and then apply the point (there's no rush as it'll still be O.K. if it's no longer cherry red) gently to exactly where you want the hole to be - from inside the m/h if you can get at it from inside as you may not want to remove it or climb on the roof. If using the nail don't apply tape or the tape will melt into an 'orrible sticky mess. The nail point won't slip so you can gently push it right through the plastic. If it won't go right through just heat it up again. Don't breathe the fumes that come off the melting plastic.

You can also apply Captain Tolleys Crack Cure (which I've not tried) or glue or clear silicone sealant to the crack from the inside and then on the outside when convenient.

(And before you ask, yes, this melting process also works well to make a hole in a plastic water butt in order to fit a tap etc. Just heat an appropriate sized socket and push it through. ;) ).

I hope CTCCC has changed since I last used it. It certainly creeps but then stays sticky forever and prevents anything else sticking to it. I last tried it 40+ years ago though 😁

Quick repair if you can yourself, or find someone to do it, get on the roof, clean the skylight and stick some duct tape over the crack. That will stop the rain getting into the MH.

I would either do a temporary fix with duct tape, or remove the skylight dome and glue the crack with acrylic glue. Allow to set and refit. Should last years like that. If thinking of selling, replace the dome. If it is the small 40cm square one, then they are reasonable pricewise. The big ones are ridiculous prices for what they are

Let us know where you are and a Funster with a drill and glue might do it for you ?
The replacement bits for 40x40 roof vents aren't too expensive either.

Movan Stick with duck tape we can have a look at Quakers (if your coming and then see if we can get a secondhand one from the dismantlers

STAY AWAY FROM THE LADDERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gorilla do a good clear tape to get you by until it can be replaced.

Captain Tolley's is excellent for stopping up a minor leak, it will not glue a crack or stop it getting bigger.

Personally I’d leave it well alone until you can find/afford to replace. May glues will just make the plastic more brittle.

If it’s a 400x400 roof vent they there are a good few about as they are often removed to fit maxxfans.
