Is there an adapter I can get and if so what would I search for?

12v to me is 12v. But obviously not!!

Where is the old 12v lead? Perhaps that can be adapters at the TV end

The old 4 pin one is fitted in Motorhome by dealer 3+ Years ago. But the new lead is the big standard 12v push in socket like UK vans have and on dash in front

Try typing 4 pin camera connector in Google lots come up similar to what you are looking

The new tv has the single as pic left above The lead I have to plug in is this plus HDMI and Sat cable all disappearing up a hole to god knows where

The 4 pin lead will have 2 x 12v+ and 2 x 12v-.
You could cut off the old plug and, using a multimeter, find which wires are which and pair them up. Fit a new phono plug to suit the size on the TV.
Disconnect the battery before cutting.

Thank you. I’ll explain that to Duncan. I am not too good at these things.
Thank you. If he doesn’t get it we have hopefully a neighbour that can

I’m interested which 12v connection Avtex has

our old Avtex 16” has the funny four pin. Do the new ones? If so might be easier to send this back and get one of them.

That’s lead we have already. It doesn’t appear there is an adapter which would allow that plug to have a bit like the one with the single lead. We have a lead but it appears we need to find out how and where the 4 pin one is connected. It just disappears up a hole!!! Wish I understood all this lot 😰

Looks interesting. Thank you
It doesn't look right to me. The original has a polarising bump, that aligns with a notch. This picture looks round with no notch.

You could be correct. It's a 4 pin Din plug that's needed and there are many available in Male connection but few in Female. If the OP has some soldering skills it's possible to buy the components and make a connector.

Sadly no neither of us have these skills. Looks like today will have to try to trace existing lead on Motorhome and see if we can change it to the single type

it’s very difficult when looking online for a 12v travel tv to see the type of connection. I had assumed that they would be the same. Photos and descriptions don’t seem to differentiate between these different ones
