With that budget you've got a good range of nearly new vehicles to choose from and there will be some good deals around. As you already have a caravan you'll have some idea of what layout works for you, but take your time in viewing as many different types as you can - layout is everything! There is an excellent publication written by the forum owner about buying a motorhome, free to members so it'll be worth you spending £15 subscription to get full access to all the resources on the site. When (not if) you have a question, ask away and remember although it may have been asked before, there is no such thing as a stupid question (although knowing the membership, you'll probably get some "stupid" answers.

Hello we are new views to the page we have a knaus sunliner 800. Looking to go to Sicily on 10 January. Taking in some sites on the way down mainly in Tuscany. An open ticket on the tunnel don't know the return date yet depends how things go. And motor homes since a roundabout 87. joint to get info but have got much more money well spent.
