Just been to a new camp site in Coxford Downs post code SO213BD It based at a very popular airfields called Popham £10.00 per night If you like aircraft or even model aircraft flying it’s great go and have a trial flight

Did a bit of flying when I was at Popham last
Flying through the air after coming off my enduro bike (numerous times) On a practice day

Can confirm though that the ground is firm to drive on.

I used to fly out of Popham many years ago and always found it a little disconcerting that it has a petrol station at the end of the runway.

My autotrail is 4.4 tonnes and did not even mark the grass let alone the soil and it rained last night and still we did not have any problems one problem we did have is the pheasants and squirrel like the motorhome they were knocking on the door
I have my aircraft maintenance done there so it’s great for me

There is a restaurant and club house on site you have to go off site to go to shops and if you want a pub

Is it this one https://www.popham-airfield.co.uk/Caravan ? If so it's a shame as have to be a member of C&MC so not an option for all.
