Heater sensor whereabouts

We have a Fiat ducato 2.8 multijet 2.8 and the temperature display on the dash has stopped working. Everything else works. Can anyone tell me where the thermostat temperature sensor is on the engine. Thought we check it first if we can find it… thanks

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD Coolant Temp Gauge

Experienced coolant temperature gauge being erratic.Changed out sensor but fault still remains.Any suggestions to fixing this problem would be appreciated.

We’ve seen this. We have now changed the sensor and still no movement on temperature gauge. No engine lights on. Does anyone know if it goes through a fuse?

If it’s single pole such as the one shown above it will just be using the vehicles earth. What does gauge do when wire is shorted to the earth.
