Have a great trip @Busman is just leaving after 78 nights and will have loads of recommendations. Mont Blanc tunnell will be expensive if my memory serves me right
Safe travels.

Switzerland is a cheaper route, however every time we go that way we get caught in bad traffic.

Enjoy. Really like reading your posts. Short to the point but interesting and informative.

Have a wonderful time all of you.

All you need to know about speaking Greek in one sentence:

Kalimera / Kalispera (as appropriate). Tessera biera megali parakalow. :D

Hope that you have a great trip! (y)

Wednesday

We’ve travelled 370km to the fortified hilltop town of Langres and are staying at CC24278.

The small municipal campsite has a great location right on the historic ramparts that surround the town. We love coming here as the views are spectacular.

The ramparts themselves date back to Roman times and make for a great walk.

For the foodies..

Enjoyed an aperitif of Langres cheese, paired with a bottle of local Champagne as we watched the sun slowly setting

You are in a campsite when there is a free Aire just round the corner.
Are you well?

Was just thinking your daily mileage is quite low, given how far you have to go in so few days, then you throw in 'Italy tomorrow' :)

BIL looks years younger in those sunglasses BTW

I was thinking the same, perhaps the mention of 27 days is a ploy to keep the boss happy.

At the campsite Lenny
Views are better than the aire
True but my boss wouldn't let me spend money when the Aire was free, I mentioned it last time we were there and I survived.:)

Is that what gave you the courage to buy the hydraulic levellers ?

We went for 3 months.
And would still go back for more.
Beautiful place and beautiful, warm people.
27 days is too short.
Mitch.

You'll have a brilliant time! We spent 5 weeks last June (2017) on the Peloponnese. We posted lots about places visited. Google snailtrails for our blog. Not posting the link.
Enjoy.

Have a fantastic journey, we've just got back from the greek islands so are Kleftiko, Souvlaki and beef kokkinisto'd out,

The Mont Blanc tunnel is an excellent way via Annecy to get into Italy and a beautiful view as you emerge and at 56 euros return we don't think expensive at all.

Hope you stocked up well at Majestic, Greek wine can be an acquired taste, top tip add a few centilitres of water to a glass if not to your liking, it can make all the difference.

I went to a Greek wedding in kos a good few years ago,,,, the wine was god awful!!!

Till a waiter told me to put coke in the red, and lemonade in the white!

Did the trick nicely,, tasted lovely and got completely off my face!! Lol
