Heading to Greece for sun and FUN (1 Viewer)

We've arrived at the Channel Tunnel in readiness for our afternoon crossing to Calais.
Travelling with us, is my Sister and BIL and their little doggy MiMi

Our destination is the Peloponese Peninsular in Greece. Our route will take us through France, the Mont Blanc tunnel and then to Bari in the heel of Italy, from where we wil catch an overnight ferry to Igoumenista in northern Greece.

We will then head south to the bottom tip of the Peloponnese and take a ferry to Elafonisos which is meant to enjoy some of the best beaches in Europe

Along the way we're going to be sampling the local food, wine and culture, but most importantly we're going to be having FUN.

We've got just 27 nights to make it to Greece and back - its going to be a busy trip, but we're upto the challenge !

I've got a rough itinerary but would love to hear any suggestions for places to visit and food to try.

Our first port of call tonight is Marcoing - CC23454, but first a stop a Majestic Wine to top up on essential supplies.

We were in Bari in July. Stayed in a hotel because we were flying back to the UK the following morning. Lovely little city and we'll worth exploring if you haven't been. Nice waterfront to wander along.

You wouldn't go thirsty he's got a wine chiller in there, you might have to do the washing, there's an auto washing machine in there as well.
