OUCH ! Imagine watching your "home", your transport and belongings going up in flames like that!
Do 'we' know anything about the circs?
Don`t know if they are on storage or an aire type place.... BUT..
Our six meter rule comes in to it`s own...
Allway`s a worry on Aires`s...
I have seen a fire in a spanish site before.....very frightening....so close together.
Panic and headless chicken comes to mind.
We were on a Naturist site in Spain two years ago when some adjacent palm trees caught fire. The police and fire people were very quickly on site with instructions for everyone off site NOW! Like most other people we left everything but the van and quickly drove off the site, not stopping until reaching safety on the edge of town, where a crowd had gathered to watch the fire. It was at this point I remembered that I had no clothes on, with a crowd outside the van.
Mmm horrible is 6m enough when its roaring like that, probly not
And I, ladies and gentleman, have the proof that it's true, I still have the photos.
Terrible tragedy, wonder about the rest, fireman was clearly trying to stop it going further but I think unlikely to have managed it!
Awful, imagine getting that phone call or returning to your van after a day out to find that!!
