Eight wonderful years!
I've got a Swift Escape with a solid door. It's really annoying, not being able to see out - who's knocking, what the dogs are doing (what husband is doing!). Is it possible to fit a small window?? If not, is it possible to buy a replacement door with a window - how would the locks/alarm be sorted? Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks in advance.

@Techno has fitted a window into a wall in his coachbuilt so might be able to advise.

I didn't do it, but had one fitted by Crossley coach craft at Leyland. About £80, parts and labour

I was thinking about a catflap for my dog but I don't think future buyers would like it!

Are you sure about the £80 price? We are talking about work done to a motorhome aren't we? Normally £800!

When you telephone for a quote refer to it as a 'camper'. The price will be half as much as calling it a motorhome ;)
