Few photo`s to bore you with....

Damp chilly grey day... but a nice place to visit...

It`s a fabulous City/Town to shuffle round,,,, Loads of old buildings and funny old structures...

The Cathedral has to be one of the best in the UK, with the tallest spire in the UK...

Photo`s in no particular order, and I don`t know half the names of what I have taken, just they caught my eye due to the work that went into them all those hundreds of years ago..

If you want a site in close proximity to the city / Old Sarum and Stone Henge, this is an ideal site..

As a finally to our stay, the Chief Rabbi of Salisbury Cathedral gave me a new unread "Joke Book" from Anglo Saxon times..

And he Blessed Me..... :notworthy2::pray2:(y)

That's not what Salisbury Police say about the joke book old-mo ::bigsmile:

It's good to see you enjoying your Sanatogen, though the colour seems to have changed since my Granny used to have it

Bl**dy H*ll!!!

Friday and he's sober!:Eeek:

And where did you leave the wee darling Daisy when you were getting boozed up?:swear2:

were you on hudsons field if so did you walk along the river into salisbury?

First photo was The Poultry Cross old-mo 😊nice photos glad you enjoyed it👍🎉😊

If the Rabbit used hand gestures to bless you Maurice ,did you read the signs correctly.?
On a secondary note Salisbury looks ok,we haven't been for some 40 odd years also so a revisit is on the books now after your taster. (y)

Thanks for the photos.

We lived near Salisbury until 1966 when we moved up north.

I'd just won a full music scholarship to The Choristers' School but obviously couldn't take up the place :( I found the paperwork when clearing out old stuff at my parents' house. Bit sad really.

Glad you and Judy and Daisy enjoyed Salisbury, old-mo - we’re there next week. (y)

(Lucky escape, eh?…….. ;) )

So glad that you have risen and enjoying yourselves again Mo.
I understand that the cathedral has quite a following in Russia.

I`m not sure what the field is called.... as you go through the gate we were on that one...

Next to the toilet and shower block on the left, just before the second field...

Last photo is a zoomed in shot from our plot towards Old Sarum... (y)

Not at all 😂😂. Ours works best when we have the electric bikes. If you can’t cycle then a toad next best thing … 👍
