Had a minor disaster while away, hab door wouldn't open from outside.
I stripped the handle assembly off and the rear catch casting pin had snapped off making the whole assembly useless.

Anyway, I got a replacement from Bailey - nearly 60.00, outrageous... - now need to get the barrel out of the old lock and into the new. I can't see how to do it - many sites suggest I need a 'master key', but nobody seems to stock it.
Any suggestions out there please ?

If it's a Zadi lock
Sadly, it's a Hartel lock and I don't think this one will fit.
Bailey used to do one but have stopped now.
It's really annoying as the battery box barrel keeps falling out !

Do Hartle make the lock barrels ? Chances are they buy them in ready to go. If you have one that falls out have a look here. Had a lock on the old Swift that fell out but that was on the water tank cap. Little piece of plastic to hold it it. Works Ok and then the lock starts to move around and the next thing you know it's on the end of the key. Once it had come out that was it. New lock required so just left the hole in the cap. http://www.motorcaravanning.co.uk/shopuk/zadi_locks.htm

Might well be a third party barrel, sadly no markings on it.
This is the offending article..

I might well try taking it to Timpsons to see if they can help..
