Some of the comments are wonderful!

Camparvans are a scourge in the summer. They should be stopping in holiday homes keeping the roads clear for locals.

Lomper will obviously not be complaining about the lack of affordable housing in the area as all the houses are now holiday lets .....

Hi.
Love Wales, however in the 70-80's Small farms could only have Three " Units" on a site and this was checked by Helicopters ( Snowdonia )Perhaps this could be relaxed and say 5-6 units allowed on the land. We were in Yorkshire over one Bank holiday at the Wensleydale show,Bedale/Leyburn were gridlocked...... Council sent out a message to all the Farms. " If you have room, take as many as you want " job sorted..... Yorkshire G.O.C. (y) .

Probably a scam by a Vehicle Recovery company knowing that the lakes are wet and farm land is trampled up by livestock.

We love North Wales, I used to kayak there extensively.

Some of the locals can be a tad possessive. I have had one threaten to kill me for paddling on the Dee and another tell me my car wouldn’t be in the same condition I left it when I went to paddle the Ogwen in Bethesda.

Most people however have been very friendly over the years. As usual, it is the inconsiderate few who tar us all with the same brush.

With Morris leisure in Llanberis now only accepting bookings of a week or more, and others doing the same, the quicker Aires come the better.

That statement is not true .

We love Wales - unfortunately, Wales does not like us!!
Mature couple with a relatively new small motorhome, all self contained but have been made to feel unwelcome. As an example -
We were on Anglesey - Cemaes Bay - Paid £15 to stop the night on their isolated car park. That evening local parish councillors put nasty no overnight posters. £15 was over the top but it was just so beautiful that we had to wake up to the view. Now, apparently they receive no income from this wonderful asset.
We will pop over to Wales occasionally but it will not top Scotland.

Which bit?

I tried to book a weekend next year and they told me I can’t unless I book the week?

So either it’s true, or they are telling me lies?
