Been working hard on this, happy overall with the work on the body so far, one or two issues, lessons learnt.

Still work in progress, have the pickups and electronics and scratchplate. Next step neck etc..

I've enjoyed the hard work so far.

Is it from a kit or did you buy the hardware separately? Looks an interesting project

No, Neil gave me an old body, it was black, so I stripped it down to the bare wood, sanded it 0ver and over, sealed it primed it, subbed it down, strayed it 7 coats, then clear lacquer, rubbing down between all layers..

Unhappy, so started again...

There are some flaws, but, I have enjoyed the challenge. The copper shielding took some time.. Next is the electronics, bridge, and neck...

Its been good working on it, far more interesting than TV, which dont have here at the moment..

I'm assuming that the body was a Squire and to be honest the cost (body was free) in paint etc and time you cant justify, but from a pleasure point of view, its been great...

Will I do another?

I have seen an out router in dads garage,,
