Just for fun..As most of you will know from previous threads our van has a small water ingress leak where cab meets hab. To avoid it getting any wors, e several weeks ago I turned the van around on the drive to stop any more ingress. Theres been no heating on inside. Last week mum bought a domestic compressor dehumidifier, today I've put it in the van, any guesses as to how much water it will pull out in a 24 hr period?

1.25 litres.

Im either ignorant, too young or your giving your age away, I've no idea how much a gill is compared to a ml, pint etc. Can you try another format :)

A gill is 5 fluid ounces. So 27 gill is 135 fluid ounces.
135 fluid ounces is nearly 7 pints. So my answer is 7 pints.
Btw,the measure for spirits in pubs used to be one-sixth gill, before we went wonky.

Pints is good for me (y), not that I drink them

Unless all the vents are blocked so it cannot draw anything from the outside, I would guess an awful lot !

We had one of those old measure in a pub I worked in. Gill does ring a bell somewhere. The lady inspector from weights and measures took issue with it. On its shelf, unused with other antiquated things like wooden and brass beer barrel taps etc.

Ive no idea TBH
Not that it has anything to do with your competition but if the air outside is just as wet as the inside air, all you dehumidifier is doing is trying to take water from the atmosphere, rather than drying your van.

As said above if all vents are not sealed you will be trying to dehumidify the earths atmosphere so it’ll depend on outside humidity levels how you much you capture

I am sure this talk of sucking in so much from outside is an urban myth, the dehumidifier is only moving the air round not consuming it , why is so much going to be sucked in, where will it all go 😳🤔👍
