Having had to cut our late summer break short and return home, we have made our way towards the tunnel for a 10:15 train tomorrow, and we happen to find this lovely spot by the river. The downside is the machine is working fine so it’s cost me the great sum of €7.50.

I thinks it’s parked up for the night either in or very close to Italy. I’m afraid we’ll all have to wait for tomorrows instalment.

For those heading this way, either like me going home or heading further afield, diesel at the supermarket at the far end of town (towards Dunkirk) was €1.68ppl this afternoon, only wish I’d got a belly tank, 200ltrs to take back to Blighty would be a bonus. Don’t think the border force bother with Tank Shine nowadays. I’ll let you old truckers explain !!
