Just back from the fourth post lockdown trip with a new Elddis CV60 and had grey water drain problems from day 3, very slow run out, like 10 minutes!! Took off the grey tap following suggestions on the Forum (thanks) and found a plug of grey swarfe from the tank drilling in the pipe and tap, the larger pipe is a push fit on my van and run-off improved. Drained off over the service point on Saturday and thought empty but got home and after the M6 shake up, emptied another 30 litres out of the 70 litre tank. Removed the larger pipe again this morning and flush out with a hosepipe and out came a disc of plastic from the hole cutter. Bit more attention to detail needed Elddis!!! or should it be the dealer??

Drained the fresh water tank and out came another piece of swarfe, fingers crossed it has not got into the heater or pump.

Passed the info to a few people on the sites with similar vans after the first issue but may help a wider Forum..

What a bugger !
But to be fair to Elddis it could happen to any one. One moments inattention and there you have it :)
Well done for sorting it so well (y)

Thanks, must say we are well pleased with the van and the layout and just had 37.2mpg on our Scottish tour but each day brings excitement as we find various bits and parts that appear out of nooks and crannies each time we move the van, like Radar o'Rielly in the old MASH, we may have enough to build another van soon!!!!:LOL::LOL:
