Parked opposite the grey waste dump here in France. It is now blocked because idiots dump their cassettes down it when there is a toilet dump 10 yards to the right.
Just idiots.

On a CL site. Just had a ‘word’ with someone who went to drinking water tap to clean out his toilet! Goodness knows where he was going to empty the water he would have put in!

Seen it often in France, maybe one of the biggest nations of Motorhomers but they have some right plonkers.
Shouted at quite a few for rinsing their cassette under the freshwater tap when there has been one for the cassette, only a couple of yards away.

There has been four men working on it since 0900 this morning. Still not sorted it they have the intercepter and pump in bits.
Amazing how many people fill drinking containers from the dump hose which is being used for cassettes.

Best I had was a gentleman cleaning his cassette in the washing up sink. His reason, there was no hot water at the proper emptying point, !

Normal for the French if that tap is free & the freshwater one is €2, also they only drink bottled water so don't worry if there is poo in their fresh tank.

All sorted now. I spoke with the technician ( white collared shirt ) seemed to be the boss. I said you need a sign up no cassettes. He said its all ok if they wash it down. Which obviously they dont. It all goes the same way his words not mine.
Maybe its a good earner for him good half day upto his elbows in winey material.
