Wrapped is instead of having a paint job done they cover it with a film of plastic coating, beauty is they can come and do it on site.

Looks good.
The $64 question how much, looks like a lot of work with that size vehice.

What's the life expectancy of a wrap?

I was going to ask that Lenny and where from as very interested for ours.

They said should be good for 10 years if you look after it,they only done all the blue and graphics not much change out of 3k.

Had it done by a company called Big Duke in Dover.

A full wrap for my 6.7m van would be £3k if done by a company called S6 Wraps.
I've seen one done, to be honest 3 years later it's looks a bit faded and tatty.
However when they come to sell, they can strip off the wrap and they will have an almost 'new' van underneath

Wraps come in different grades, depending how long you want them to last, mainly the colour fastness, so the cost will vary. The price sounds right to me, this stuff is not cheap to buy, a medium sized works van cost well over a grand. The good thing is if you have it done when the vehicle is new, the bodywork protection is great, you can remove it 5/10 years later when it is time to sell and the paint work is like new.

What was the make of wrap they used ? I used Avery Dennison supreme they say that like yourself should last 10 years , and can be removed also after that period . So I guess only time will tell ! I also use Avery Dennison cleaner and sealant after washing down th e vehicle for maintaining the finish fingers crossed it will last and like Swiss said hopefully keep the paintwork fresh .

Yes sorry meant to say looks a good job , the other thing I feel on my wrap is that when scraping along hedgerows it's the wrap that takes the flack .
