I came across this group on faceache and love what they are doing, just imagine the difference it could make if just a small percentage of MH/camper owners did this.
A minority are giving us ALL a bad name, this could redress the balance.

Excellent, just joined. Been doing that for years . Always leave the place you pitched up tidier than you found it!
As a kid we used to go to the beach in the evenings with a metal detector and used to clear rubbish up into piles for the clean up crew and douse any barbeques and fires left burning. It has always got to me how lazy folk are with double standards. Seek out a nice clean bit of beach to use, then leave all your detritus behind as if you paid somebody else to clean up behind.

Its the same in the new forest with tonnes of rubbish left daily by visitors. There to enjoy the unspoilt beauty of nature. The locals despise these lazy grockles. This is OUR back garden and we do our best to protect it.

We take the same philosophy away camping with us

I did join but after a week or two of loads of posts daily of people posting pics of their litter picking, I left. Whilst supporting their aims, I do think they would do better posting on groups local to where they have cleaned up. That way local communities would see what they are doing and it might counteract the many posts about motor caravans being the source of litter.

I've joined as well.

If we pull into a layby for lunch or a break I will often pick up any rubbish lying around so I can take it and dispose of it correctly. I get a few funny looks but I don't care and if anyone asks I tell them that if everyone took home their rubbish and picked up a couple of extra pieces it would make a huge difference. Some people get it - most don't.

Or do both.

I can't disagree with that, but I think they like to do that as encouragement for others......I can see the point on both sides.

Not on face ache and ifbim honest only a bloody good mask would improve my image
