does any one know where I can get a piece of heat restistant glass to fit between the wooden side of cabinet and top of hob on a late 2007 Avantguard motor home. Ours shattered and can't seem find another.

A glazier should be able to cut a piece of heat tempered glass to suit..

but maybe it was a poor design in the first place.. so if replaced may shatter again..

how about a piece of polished ally or stainless steel instead ?

Thanks, we thought about that, but don't know where to go for stainless or ally.

If you're near a B&Q they keep stocks of ally and stainless plate in small sizes.. worth a mooch around you may find something you hadn't though of ..

for example.. a s/s kick plate for a door..
