Just been talking to an auto electrician about an alarm on our new motorhome. He suggested a Ghost system which requires a code via the motorhome switches before the engine will start. Better than an alarm as even if the thief has the keys the engine will not start. He quoted £450. Your thoughts gratefully received.

Autowatch Ghost 2 is pretty much the best imho

Secret switch in the starter solenoid circuit..... Less than a quid and nothing to go wrong

Indeed as Uncle PPJ says, but two switches wired in series, hidden in separate places Is even better. Less than two pounds and the only problem is remembering where you put them.
